The CJM’s passionate and talented volunteers provide vital support by assisting with special events, educational programs, front-of-house operations, and administrative tasks in The Museum offices, or as Community Docents. Volunteer today to build connections with people of all backgrounds through shared experiences with arts and culture, and to play a key role fostering a sense of community and bringing CJM exhibitions and programs to life!

Internships

Teen Art Connect (TAC) is a job training program that brings together high school students from diverse backgrounds for a year-round paid internship exploring culture through art at The Contemporary Jewish Museum.

Upon the culmination of the 2025 TAC Internship and TAC Anti-bias Leaders Fellowship, this program will be on hiatus.

community docent

Love learning, art, conversation, and people? Volunteer Community Docents facilitate interactive public tours of CJM architecture and exhibitions. Must be willing to learn and be excited about engaging with the public.
